Editorial Standards and Source Policy

Vietnam Motorsport News covers local and regional racing, Datsun classics, and performance tuning. We take accuracy seriously because readers rely on our reporting to stay informed about events, results, and technical developments in the motorsport community.

Racing Results and Event Coverage

When we publish race results, we verify them through official race organizers, timing systems, and sanctioning bodies before publication. For domestic events, we contact promoters directly. For regional series like Formula 3 or touring car championships, we cross-check against official standings and timing data.

We don’t publish preliminary or unconfirmed results. If race officials announce results subject to technical review or protest, we note that clearly in our coverage.

Technical Information and Equipment Details

Our guides on tuning, Datsun restoration, and engine modifications draw from manufacturer specifications, verified workshop experience, and published technical resources. When we reference a part number, engine code, or performance claim, we source it from the original spec sheet or confirm it with builders who’ve used the part.

We don’t repeat unverified claims about performance gains or compatibility. If something’s debated in the community, we say so and present the different views.

Corrections and Updates

We correct errors promptly when we catch them or when readers point them out. Corrections appear as updates to the original article with a note about what changed and when. We don’t hide mistakes behind silent edits.

If new information changes the context of an older piece, we add an update note rather than pretend the original stood on its own.

Sources and Attribution

We name our sources whenever possible. If someone asks to remain anonymous, we explain why we agreed to that arrangement. We don’t use unnamed sources for claims that affect people’s reputation or business.
